Dogs sniff out diabetes at Eli Lilly


Dogs are being trained to sniff out when a diabetic's blood sugar gets too low and scientists at Eli Lilly are trying to figure out what is in that canine nose that makes it able to do this. You already know how well your dog can sniff out the smallest crumb. No surprise that he can sniff changes in blood sugar levels.
