Team Mascot

This is Stevie Wonder and he is the newest member of the Albuquerque Isotopes, a minor league baseball team. Pitcher John Ely adopted him after meeting him at Watermelon Ranch where he and home of his teammates had been volunteering.

The pup was found wandering the streets of a nearby community with badly infected and damaged eyes. Seems like the disability has not bothered Stevie in the least--after all he gets an entire team with which to play catch!
